सामान्यधर्मा मध्यमधर्मा चोत्तमधर्मवान् ।
एतेषां कस्यचिद्भेदो द्वौ त्रयोऽप्यथ कस्यचित् ॥ १२ ॥

sāmānyadharmā madhyamadharmā cottamadharmavān |
eteṣāṃ kasyacidbhedo dvau trayo'pyatha kasyacit || 12 ||

These are again subdivided into three kinds, as some belonging to one state, and others composed of two or three states (i. e. of virtue and vice intermixed) in the same individual soul.
