The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.10.20

सलिलान्तर्यथा वीचिर्मृदन्तर्घटको यथा ।
तथा यत्र जगत्सत्ता तत्कथं खात्मकं भवेत् ॥ २० ॥

salilāntaryathā vīcirmṛdantarghaṭako yathā |
tathā yatra jagatsattā tatkathaṃ khātmakaṃ bhavet || 20 ||

As the billow is contained in and composed of the water and the pot of the earth, so the world being contained in Brahma, it can not be said as null and void, but full of the spirit of God.
