The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.18.62

सततभङ्गुरकार्यपरम्परा विजयिजातजयं हठवृत्तिषु ।
प्रबलदोषमिदं तु कलेवरं तृणमिवाहमपोह्य सुखं स्थितः ॥ ६२ ॥

satatabhaṅgurakāryaparamparā vijayijātajayaṃ haṭhavṛttiṣu |
prabaladoṣamidaṃ tu kalevaraṃ tṛṇamivāhamapohya sukhaṃ sthitaḥ || 62 ||

It has outdone all other things that are doomed to destruction in its instability and perishableness. It is moreover subject to very many evils; wherefore I have set it at naught as a straw, and thereby obtained my repose.
