The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.63.38

इति संचिन्त्य रुद्रोऽसौ तं सर्गं प्रजगाम ह ।
यत्र भिक्षुर्विहारस्थः सुप्तः शव इव स्थितः ॥ ३८ ॥

iti saṃcintya rudro'sau taṃ sargaṃ prajagāma ha |
yatra bhikṣurvihārasthaḥ suptaḥ śava iva sthitaḥ || 38 ||

After all these recapitulations, the incarnate Rudra returned to his former state, and reflected on this condition of the mendicant, whose body was now lying as a dead corpse on the barren ground.
