This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 94.9

नक्षत्राणि वो पालेन्तु ये तां दिशम् अधिष्ठिता ।
कृत्तिका रोहिणी चैव मृगार्द्रा च पुनर्वसु ।
पुष्यं च वरनक्षत्रं अश्लेषा भोति सप्तमा ॥ ९ ॥

nakṣatrāṇi vo pālentu ye tāṃ diśam adhiṣṭhitā |
kṛttikā rohiṇī caiva mṛgārdrā ca punarvasu |
puṣyaṃ ca varanakṣatraṃ aśleṣā bhoti saptamā || 9 ||

May the stars that stand over that region protect you, Krittika, Rohini, Mriga, Ardra, Punarvasu, the fair constellation Pushya, and Ashlesha, the seventh. (9)
