The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विपश्चितस्ते दिशि दिश्यनल्पैर्भृत्यैः समुद्रं प्रविशद्भिरेव ।
भृत्यैश्च कैश्चित्त्वनुगम्यमाना ययुर्यथा वारिणि पद्भिरेव ॥ ४ ॥

vipaścitaste diśi diśyanalpairbhṛtyaiḥ samudraṃ praviśadbhireva |
bhṛtyaiśca kaiścittvanugamyamānā yayuryathā vāriṇi padbhireva || 4 ||

All the representatives of the king, being followed by their companions on all sides, proceeded to the borders of the several seas, and then walked on their feet over to watery maze.
