The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वातावकीर्णशरदम्बुदखण्डखण्डं व्योमेव केवलसमीरणमावृताङ्गम् ।
हसैर्लसद्विसलताकवलालसांसैः कालेन संचयकृतैरिव चन्द्रबिम्बैः ॥ ७ ॥

vātāvakīrṇaśaradambudakhaṇḍakhaṇḍaṃ vyomeva kevalasamīraṇamāvṛtāṅgam |
hasairlasadvisalatākavalālasāṃsaiḥ kālena saṃcayakṛtairiva candrabimbaiḥ || 7 ||

There is a fragment of the autumnal cloud, borne aloft by the driving winds; and appearing as it were a part of the sky supported upon the air.
