The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भात्यत्र पश्य रविणा कटके सुवेलशैलस्य काञ्चनशिला सकलामलश्रीः ।
वेलावलोलवरुणालयवीचिभङ्गपर्यस्तवाडवकृशानुकणोपमाना ॥ ३६ ॥

bhātyatra paśya raviṇā kaṭake suvelaśailasya kāñcanaśilā sakalāmalaśrīḥ |
velāvalolavaruṇālayavīcibhaṅgaparyastavāḍavakṛśānukaṇopamānā || 36 ||

Look the Bela rock, which is washed by the billows of Varuna—the god of the sea; its stones shining as gold under the solar rays; and sparkling as the marine fire when they are laved by the waves.
