The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आनीलपल्लवमृणाललतोत्पलानां कह्लारकुन्दकदलीदलमालतीनाम् ।
शय्या ममाङ्गचलनेन विशोषयन्त्या व्यर्थं गतानि नवयौवनवासराणि ॥ ७१ ॥

ānīlapallavamṛṇālalatotpalānāṃ kahlārakundakadalīdalamālatīnām |
śayyā mamāṅgacalanena viśoṣayantyā vyarthaṃ gatāni navayauvanavāsarāṇi || 71 ||

I have made me beds of the blue leaves of lotuses and other plants, and covered me with chaplets of snow-white flowers; but found them to turn pale and dry by their contact with my body. So pity me, that my youthful days have all gone in vain.
