The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्वया तस्मिंस्तपस्येव दुःखे दृष्टिभ्रमोदिते ।
ग्राह्यैकभावना बद्धा जलेन्दौ शशिनो यथा ॥ २० ॥

tvayā tasmiṃstapasyeva duḥkhe dṛṣṭibhramodite |
grāhyaikabhāvanā baddhā jalendau śaśino yathā || 20 ||

I see thy mind is fixed in wilful pains of thy austerities, as the sight of a deluded man is settled on the reflection of the moon in the waters.
