The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निबन्धनानि चिह्नानि शासनानि दिशं प्रति ।
क्षणान्निवेशयामासुर्मण्डलं प्रति मन्त्रिणः ॥ १८ ॥

nibandhanāni cihnāni śāsanāni diśaṃ prati |
kṣaṇānniveśayāmāsurmaṇḍalaṃ prati mantriṇaḥ || 18 ||

The new king issued forthwith his circulars and royal edicts to all sides, struck coins in his own name, and placed his ministers as commissioners in all provinces.
