The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इतोऽन्यतश्चोपगता मुधैव समानसंकेतनिबद्धभावा ।
यात्रासमासंगसमा नराणां कलत्रमित्रव्यवहारमाया ॥ २५ ॥

ito'nyataścopagatā mudhaiva samānasaṃketanibaddhabhāvā |
yātrāsamāsaṃgasamā narāṇāṃ kalatramitravyavahāramāyā || 25 ||

Men are as passengers in a procession, repairing from this side and that to join at the place of their meeting. Such is the delusive union of our wives and friends here.
