The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बाल्यं रम्यमिति व्यर्थबुद्धयः कल्पयन्ति ये ।
तान्मूर्खपुरुषान्ब्रह्मन्धिगस्तु हृतचेतसः ॥ ११ ॥

bālyaṃ ramyamiti vyarthabuddhayaḥ kalpayanti ye |
tānmūrkhapuruṣānbrahmandhigastu hṛtacetasaḥ || 11 ||

Fie to those ignorant and foolish people, who are falsely led to imagine boyhood as the most pleasant period of life.
