नोवाच स तदा किंचित्कृष्णो रामं महाद्युतिम् ।
रुक्मिणी तु ततः श्रुत्वा निहतं भ्रातरं प्रियम् ।
निगृह्य च तदात्मानं क्रोधादश्रूण्यवर्तयत् ॥ ४८ ॥

rukmiṇī tu tataḥ śrutvā nihataṃ bhrātaraṃ priyam |
