The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 5.69

hṛdi yā mama tuṣṭiradya jātā vyavasāyaśca yathā dhṛtau niviṣṭaḥ |
vijane 'pi ca nāthavānivāsmi dhruvamartho 'bhimukhaḥ sa me ya iṣṭaḥ || 69 ||

'Since such is the firm content which to-day is produced in my heart, and since my determination is settled in calm resolve, and since even in loneliness I seem to possess a guide,—verily the end which I desire is now before me.
