The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हेमहेमाश्मनोः स्वप्नपुरचेतनयोर्यथा ।
भेदो न संभवत्येव न भेदश्चितिसर्गयोः ॥ ७ ॥
hemahemāśmanoḥ svapnapuracetanayoryathā |
bhedo na saṃbhavatyeva na bhedaścitisargayoḥ || 7 ||
As there is no difference between gold and the gold mountain of Meru, and between the dreamed city and the mind; so there is no difference whatever, between the intellect and its creation.
