The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.81.83

संग्राममत्तभटखङ्गमरीचिवीचि श्यामायमानसकलातपवासराणाम् ।
व्यावृत्तिभिर्विलुठतामपि सुस्थिराणामाकर्ण्यते कलकलो जनमण्डलानाम् ॥ ८३ ॥

saṃgrāmamattabhaṭakhaṅgamarīcivīci śyāmāyamānasakalātapavāsarāṇām |
vyāvṛttibhirviluṭhatāmapi susthirāṇāmākarṇyate kalakalo janamaṇḍalānām || 83 ||

In her warfare with the jarring elements, rolling on like waves of the ocean, and darkening the daylight as by the waving swords of warriors, she listens to the tumult of all the worlds and their peoples.
