आद्यः पितामहो यः स्यात्सोऽपि नास्त्येव भूपते ।
कारणाभावतो नित्यं यदा भावो न कस्यचित् ॥ ६२ ॥

kumbha uvāca |
ādyaḥ pitāmaho yaḥ syātso'pi nāstyeva bhūpate |
kāraṇābhāvato nityaṃ yadā bhāvo na kasyacit || 62 ||

The causes of all things and effects are called as their seeds, and when there is no seed in existence, it is impossible for a germ to be produced in the earth from nothing.
