The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पदार्थे स्फुरतो यस्य न स्तुतिर्निन्दनादृते ।
स देहं देहदुःखार्थमादत्ते केन हेतुना ॥ ५ ॥

padārthe sphurato yasya na stutirnindanādṛte |
sa dehaṃ dehaduḥkhārthamādatte kena hetunā || 5 ||

He who praises no object of enjoyment, but rather finds fault with all of them, and discerns well their evils; enjoys the health of his body without any complaint.
