The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.27.31

संक्षोभयाम्यहं तावच्छाम्याम्यात्मनि पावने ।
इति संचिन्तयन्नेव बलिः परमकोविदः ॥ ३१ ॥

saṃkṣobhayāmyahaṃ tāvacchāmyāmyātmani pāvane |
iti saṃcintayanneva baliḥ paramakovidaḥ || 31 ||

I am so long in sorrow, as my soul is not united with the Holy spirit. So saying, the most discerning Bali fell to a deep meditation.
