The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.2.13

तस्थौ रामस्तु तामेव वासिष्ठीं वचनावलीम् ।
चिन्तयन्मधुरोदारां करिणीं कलभो यथा ॥ १३ ॥

tasthau rāmastu tāmeva vāsiṣṭhīṃ vacanāvalīm |
cintayanmadhurodārāṃ kariṇīṃ kalabho yathā || 13 ||

Rama continued to reflect on the lectures of Vasishtha, which appeared as charming to him, as the cry of the parent elephant, is gladsome to its tender young.
