The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.33.11

नाशायापद्गतार्थिन्या दृष्ट्या दृश्यादिदृष्टयः ।
दुःखादृते निराबाधं सुखं किं चिदवाप्यते ॥ ११ ॥

nāśāyāpadgatārthinyā dṛṣṭyā dṛśyādidṛṣṭayaḥ |
duḥkhādṛte nirābādhaṃ sukhaṃ kiṃ cidavāpyate || 11 ||

All visible things are full of danger to the sight of the intelligent. There is no pleasure to be had from anything, without its concomitant pain.
