The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दिशत्येवं मनोमन्त्री कर्माणि शुभकर्मणि ।
एवं मनोमणिं राम बहुपङ्ककलङ्कितम् ॥ १५ ॥

diśatyevaṃ manomantrī karmāṇi śubhakarmaṇi |
evaṃ manomaṇiṃ rāma bahupaṅkakalaṅkitam || 15 ||

The mind as a counsellor of our good, teaches us how to fell down the tree of our transmigration, and produce the arbour of our future bliss.
