The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आलोकसमकाले हि प्रतिभानं ततो भृगोः ।
चिरमुत्क्रान्तजीवः किं मत्पुत्रोऽयमिति क्षणात् ॥ १४ ॥
ālokasamakāle hi pratibhānaṃ tato bhṛgoḥ |
ciramutkrāntajīvaḥ kiṃ matputro'yamiti kṣaṇāt || 14 ||
He then began to dubitate in his mind, at the sight of the dead body, as to whether it could be the lifeless carcass of his son or any other.
