The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तया सह समास्तत्र मया बह्व्षोऽतिवाहिताः ।
नारके चिन्तया सार्धं ब्रह्मघ्नेनेव यातनाः ॥ ६ ॥

tayā saha samāstatra mayā bahvṣo'tivāhitāḥ |
nārake cintayā sārdhaṃ brahmaghneneva yātanāḥ || 6 ||

In this manner passed many years with these shoots of my woe in that place; as a Brahmicide has to pass long years of torment in hell-fire.
