The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नाद्यर्थावभासेन संविदेव स्फुरत्यलम् ।
अस्फुरन्ती तु तेनैव यात्येकत्वं तदात्मिका ॥ ४६ ॥

svapnādyarthāvabhāsena saṃvideva sphuratyalam |
asphurantī tu tenaiva yātyekatvaṃ tadātmikā || 46 ||

Our dreams like our knowledge of all other things, are made known to us by our consciousness, the nature of which is unknown to us as that of the inward soul.
