The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शस्त्रवारिकृताम्भोदसदृशावर्तकुण्डलः ।
संरम्भघनसंचारसेनातिमितिमिङ्गिलः ॥ ७ ॥

śastravārikṛtāmbhodasadṛśāvartakuṇḍalaḥ |
saṃrambhaghanasaṃcārasenātimitimiṅgilaḥ || 7 ||

The shining weapons formed the waters of this ocean and their whirlpools also, while the long lines of forces appeared as the huge and horrible bodies of its whales.
