The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

धीरताऽधीरतामेति पातोत्पातपरो जनः ।
सुलभो दुर्जनाश्लेषो दुर्लभः सत्समागमः ॥ २१ ॥

dhīratā'dhīratāmeti pātotpātaparo janaḥ |
sulabho durjanāśleṣo durlabhaḥ satsamāgamaḥ || 21 ||

Patience is converted into impatience; man is liable to the states of birth and death; good company is rare, but bad company is ever within the reach of every body.
