Verse 18.14

आचारेण तथा नीत्या शास्त्रेण कृपया तथा ।
सजतीयस्यापि गुरोरलाभेन स्वस्य स्वेनैवानुग्रहाभिषेकयोः कर्तव्यता ।
तथा शास्त्रोक्तविधिना स्वयमिष्ट्वा जगद्गुरुण् ॥ 14 ॥

ācāreṇa tathā nītyā śāstreṇa kṛpayā tathā |
sajatīyasyāpi guroralābhena svasya svenaivānugrahābhiṣekayoḥ kartavyatā |
tathā śāstroktavidhinā svayamiṣṭvā jagadguruṇ || 14 ||
