This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 20.57

व्यवदानसन्निचितपुण्यबला समयो खु अन्तिमम् उपेतु भवं ।
सज्जा ताव भवति ते जननी अनुकम्प दानि दुःखितां जनतां ॥ ५७ ॥

vyavadānasannicitapuṇyabalā samayo khu antimam upetu bhavaṃ |
sajjā tāva bhavati te jananī anukampa dāni duḥkhitāṃ janatāṃ || 57 ||

“O thou who art strong with merit won by purification, now is it time for thee to enter upon thy last existence. Thy mother is ready. Now have pity upon afflicted mankind.” (57)
