The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गच्छावोऽत्राश्रभे गौर्या मुनिमण्डलमण्डिते ।
भ्रातरो मे स्थिताः सप्त वनेष्वेवमिवार्थिनः ॥ १० ॥

gacchāvo'trāśrabhe gauryā munimaṇḍalamaṇḍite |
bhrātaro me sthitāḥ sapta vaneṣvevamivārthinaḥ || 10 ||

He said:—Let us go to the sanctuary of Gauri here, which is the resort of many munis and sages from all quarters; and is the asylum to which my seven brothers, have repaired for attainment of their objects.
