The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.156.24

सिन्धुर्वदिष्यति ।
यद्येवं तन्मया देवी सदैवैषा प्रपूज्यते ।
मोक्षं किमिति मे नैषा ददाति परमेश्वरी ॥ २४ ॥

sindhurvadiṣyati |
yadyevaṃ tanmayā devī sadaivaiṣā prapūjyate |
mokṣaṃ kimiti me naiṣā dadāti parameśvarī || 24 ||

Sindhu then, will respond to it; saying:—If it is so, then I must ask, why the goddess did not confer the blessing of liberation on me also, that have been so earnestly devoted to her at all times.
