The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न किंचिदपि यत्रास्ति बीजमाकृतिमन्मनाक् ।
तत आकृतिमद्विश्वं भवतीति विडम्बनम् ॥ ६१ ॥

na kiṃcidapi yatrāsti bījamākṛtimanmanāk |
tata ākṛtimadviśvaṃ bhavatīti viḍambanam || 61 ||

How can you expect to derive a solid seed from a void nothing, and therefore it is a deception to think the material world to be produced, from the immaterial and formless void of the vacuous intellect.
