The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यद्यथा चेत्यते येन तज्जीवेनाशु तेन तत् ।
चिद्रूपेणाप्यते सिद्धमेतदाबालमक्षतम् ॥ ४१ ॥

yadyathā cetyate yena tajjīvenāśu tena tat |
cidrūpeṇāpyate siddhametadābālamakṣatam || 41 ||

Whatever lives or living beings, it thinks of or conceives in itself; the same spring forth quickly from it, and this truth is known even to boys.
