The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुक्तिरूप्यभ्रमाकारो जनो मिथ्यैव ताम्यति ।
अभावभावस्तु परं बोधरूपमसंसृतिः ॥ ५९ ॥

śuktirūpyabhramākāro jano mithyaiva tāmyati |
abhāvabhāvastu paraṃ bodharūpamasaṃsṛtiḥ || 59 ||

Men in vain wish to take the shell for silver, and believe the negative world as a positive one, and is found to be nothing before the light of reason.
