The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.8.18

इति संकल्प एवान्तश्चिरभावनया यथा ।
अग्रस्थदृश्योपमया सत्यतामिव गच्छति ॥ १८ ॥

iti saṃkalpa evāntaścirabhāvanayā yathā |
agrasthadṛśyopamayā satyatāmiva gacchati || 18 ||

As a thought that is long dwelt upon and brooded over in the mind, comes to appear as really present before the sight of its entertainer.
