The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मात्तापसरूपेण बोधयामि पतिं क्षणात् ।
भर्ता कषायपाकेन परिपक्वमतिः स्थितः ॥ ५५ ॥

tasmāttāpasarūpeṇa bodhayāmi patiṃ kṣaṇāt |
bhartā kaṣāyapākena paripakvamatiḥ sthitaḥ || 55 ||

I will therefore admonish my husband in the figure of a devotee, and it is possible that my admonition delivered in this manner, will make its effect in him; who is now grown hoary with age.
