The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.57.26

यथा ज्ञजीवयोर्नास्ति भेदो नाम तथैतयोः ।
भेदोऽस्ति न ज्ञशिवयोर्विद्धि शान्तमखण्डितम् ॥ २६ ॥

yathā jñajīvayornāsti bhedo nāma tathaitayoḥ |
bhedo'sti na jñaśivayorviddhi śāntamakhaṇḍitam || 26 ||

As there is no difference between the intelligent and the living soul (jiva), so there is no diversity between the intelligent soul and Siva (Ziv or Jove), the Lord of animated nature who is the undivided whole.
