The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उन्मील्य नेत्रे सोऽपश्यदन्ते कालभृगू प्रभू ।
समोदयाविवायातौ देवौ शशिदिवाकरौ ॥ २६ ॥

unmīlya netre so'paśyadante kālabhṛgū prabhū |
samodayāvivāyātau devau śaśidivākarau || 26 ||

Upon opening and lifting up his eyes, he beheld the god standing with his father on one side, who being pleased at his sight, glowed in their countenances like the disks of the sun and moon.
