The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वया वासनया लोको यद्यत्कर्म करोति यः ।
स तथैव तदाप्नोति नेतरस्येह कर्तृता ॥ ११ ॥

svayā vāsanayā loko yadyatkarma karoti yaḥ |
sa tathaiva tadāpnoti netarasyeha kartṛtā || 11 ||

Whatever acts a man wills to do in his own mind, the same comes to take place in a short time; and there is no other (foreign) agency of anybody else required to bring them about.
