The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अङ्गीकृतं निदाघान्ते नभसेवासिताम्बुदः ।
विकासिन्यो क्षताः क्षारा दूरं परिहृता जनैः ॥ ३९ ॥

aṅgīkṛtaṃ nidāghānte nabhasevāsitāmbudaḥ |
vikāsinyo kṣatāḥ kṣārā dūraṃ parihṛtā janaiḥ || 39 ||

Men are delighted at the sight of cooling clouds, at the end of the hot season; but they avoid at a distance the rough briny shore spreading wide before them.
