The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.91.1

भानुरुवाच ।
तेनैतद्वच्मि भवगन्यथाकालं मनो मुने ।
अनिग्राह्यमभेद्यं च शापैरपि दुरासदैः ॥ १ ॥

bhānuruvāca |
tenaitadvacmi bhavaganyathākālaṃ mano mune |
anigrāhyamabhedyaṃ ca śāpairapi durāsadaiḥ || 1 ||

The sol continued:—Therefore I say, my lord! that the mind like time, is indestructible of its nature, and the inavertible imprecation of the sage, could not alter its tenor.
