The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कौ भवन्तौ नरौ धीरौ कथ्यतामिति मेऽनघौ ।
जायते दर्शनादेव मैत्री विशदचेतसाम् ॥ ३५ ॥

kau bhavantau narau dhīrau kathyatāmiti me'naghau |
jāyate darśanādeva maitrī viśadacetasām || 35 ||

Tell me, O ye sinless men, that are so brave and valiant, who you are and whence ye come: because your very sight has raised my regard for you, as the good hearted become friends with one another, even at their first sight.
