The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.70.34

कस्यचिद्विवशाङ्गस्य क्षीणस्य विपुलस्य च ।
प्रविश्यान्तर्वातसूचिर्भवत्यतिविषूचिका ॥ ३४ ॥

kasyacidvivaśāṅgasya kṣīṇasya vipulasya ca |
praviśyāntarvātasūcirbhavatyativiṣūcikā || 34 ||

Then entering in the body of some sensualist or weak or too fat a person, this inward colic flatulence of Suchi, assumed the shape of Visuchika or cholera.
