Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.65.3

न कश्चिद्विद्यते भेदो द्वैतैक्यकलनात्मकः ।
ब्रह्मजीवमनोमायाकर्तृकर्मजगद्दृशाम् ॥ ३ ॥

na kaścidvidyate bhedo dvaitaikyakalanātmakaḥ |
brahmajīvamanomāyākartṛkarmajagaddṛśām || 3 ||

Yet there is no difference between these seeming contraries; because the dualities of Brahma and the soul, the mind and maya, the agent and act, and the phenomenal and noumenal worlds, all blend together in the unity of God.
