The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.30.18

अन्तःशून्याः स्थिताः केचित्संकल्पक्षयरात्रयः ।
तरङ्गा इव तोयेऽब्धौ प्रोह्यन्ते शून्यतार्णवे ॥ १८ ॥

antaḥśūnyāḥ sthitāḥ kecitsaṃkalpakṣayarātrayaḥ |
taraṅgā iva toye'bdhau prohyante śūnyatārṇave || 18 ||

Some of these are hollow within, and others as dark as the darkness in the end of a kalpa age: and they are all moving about in the ocean of vacuity, like the waves of the sea.
