The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.13.79

अप्यापत्सु दुरन्तासु कल्पान्तेषु महत्स्वपि ।
तुच्छेऽहं न मनो यस्य स शान्त इति कथ्यते ॥ ७९ ॥

apyāpatsu durantāsu kalpānteṣu mahatsvapi |
tucche'haṃ na mano yasya sa śānta iti kathyate || 79 ||

He who takes not to his mind the tribulations of this life, however long or great they may be, nor thinks this base (bodily frame) to be himself, is known to be a saint.
