The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नासिधारा न वज्रार्चिर्न तप्तायःकणार्चिषः ।
तथा तीक्ष्णा यथा ब्रह्मंस्तृष्णेयं हृदि संस्थिता ॥ ४८ ॥

nāsidhārā na vajrārcirna taptāyaḥkaṇārciṣaḥ |
tathā tīkṣṇā yathā brahmaṃstṛṣṇeyaṃ hṛdi saṃsthitā || 48 ||

As neither the edge of the sword, nor the fire of lightning, nor the sparks of the red-hot iron, are sharp enough to sever the keen avarice seated in our hearts.
