षडङ्गं वा विधातव्यमू र्द्वा धस्ताद्भूजान्वितम् ।
मष्टाज्ग. अनीदृक्च शिवांशैस्तु भानुभागांशकांशकैः ।
त्य्रंशैकांशैकभागे तु द्वाभ्यामंशेन योजयेत् ॥ 9 ॥

ṣaḍaṅgaṃ vā vidhātavyamū rdvā dhastādbhūjānvitam |
maṣṭājga. anīdṛkca śivāṃśaistu bhānubhāgāṃśakāṃśakaiḥ |
tyraṃśaikāṃśaikabhāge tu dvābhyāmaṃśena yojayet || 9 ||
