The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 9.16

मेघाम्बुकक्षाद्रिषु या हि वृत्तिः समीरणार्काग्निमहाशनीनाम् ।
तां वृत्तिमस्मासु करोति शोको विकर्षणोच्छोषणदाहभेदैः ॥ १६ ॥

meghāmbukakṣādriṣu yā hi vṛttiḥ samīraṇārkāgnimahāśanīnām |
tāṃ vṛttimasmāsu karoti śoko vikarṣaṇocchoṣaṇadāhabhedaiḥ || 16 ||

'"That effect which is wrought in the clouds, water, the dry grass, and the mountains by the wind, the sun, the fire, and the thunderbolt,—that same effect this grief produces in us by its tearing in pieces, its drying up, its burning, and its cleaving.
